MY DIPLOMA: CREATING A SUPERHERO FOR GERMANY
the superhero’s name ist mirrorheart and he is a kindly social-hero and a good buddy.
on the one hand, his super-power is to unmask people that feel in bigger, kind of upper-class positions and his job is to destroy their authority and the thinking of status-symbols. on the other hand, he’s pushing the self-confidence of people in need of respect and kindness. how he does it, you can see in a few examples on this page, and the whole spectrum at his homepage called www.mirrorheart.tv.

in this example, mirrorheart is fighting the arrogance of an upper-class-brand in a special way.
in this example, mirrorheart is telling the plastic surgery, that nobody needs their job, because everybody is beautiful. i had to take the video down, i’m sorry for that. expect it as a funny clip.
in this example, mirrorheart is building a pyramid out of dunkin’ donuts-donuts in a police department.
in this example, mirrorheart ist doing a performance in front of the public affairs office.
in this example, mirrorheart is doing a performance in a group, giving the door-boy of a high-class-hotel a load of self-confidence in a special way.
in this example, mirrorheart is doing a performance in a mc donalds. he wants to organize a candle light dinner for an employee. but they won’t let him…
in this example, mirrorheart again does the performance with the rubber doll. in this case it was at prada boutique.
everybody should have the given possibility to feel like a superhero. so i did this figure in life size. same quite for all.

a course by stefan scheer, anja steinig and heiko schulz, lecturers at design university of applied sciences düsseldorf.

here you can see another video that plays the audiotour (in german). it was shown on several exhibitions to give the audience not only an impression of the neu06, but also present the voice of juergen thormann, wo dubs famous sir michael caine in germany and who was the first choice speaking the mainly cynical neu06 texts, which critisize our daily consume behaviour in a new, entertaining way.

my first fashion invention are these minks („nerz“ in german) as accessory to get your jacket or shirt like a kind of furry-scarf to wear, if you don’t want to drop it into puddles of beer when you’re in a club. sold out, by the way…
